00의 00은 7월 31일 창작자들이 모여 자신의 작업에 관한 이야기를 나누는 자리인 Sunday Lazy Susan을 열었습니다.

On July 31, we hosted "Sunday Lazy Susan," an event where creatives gather to talk about their work.

Lazy Susan은 중식당에서 볼 수 있는 둥그런 회전판으로 식탁 위에 접시를 올려놓고 돌려가며 함께 식사할 수 있는 도구입니다. Lazy Susan에서 도란도란 식사를 즐기듯, 한자리에 모인 참석자들은 자신의 방식으로 자유롭게 자신의 작업을 설명하고 소개하는 자리를 갖게 됩니다.

A Lazy Susan is a round, rotating plate found in Chinese restaurants that allows diners to place their plates on the table and spin them around to eat together. Just as you're enjoying a hearty meal on a Lazy Susan, the people in the room are free to describe and introduce their work in their own way.

기획자나 선배 작가가 함께하는 포트폴리오 리뷰나 오픈 프레젠테이션 형식보다는 동료 작가들과 작업을 소개하며 이야기를 나누는 방식을 통해서 보다 수평적인 관계 안에서 작업을 설명하는 자리를 갖고자 합니다. 창작자들이 서로 어떤 관심사를 가지고 작업을 하는지를 알아보고 자신의 작업을 설명하는 과정을 통해서 작가들이 자신의 작업 세계관을 확장하는 데 도움이 되길 기대하며 자리를 마련하였습니다.

Rather than a portfolio review or open presentation with a curator or senior artist, we want to have a more horizontal relationship with our fellow artists where they can talk about their work. We hope that the process of learning about each other's interests and explaining their work will help writers expand their worldviews.
